The Croatian Society of Chemical Engineers – CSCE (Hrvatsko društvo kemijskih inženjera i tehnologa – HDKI) is a unique association of chemists, chemical engineers, technologists, and both individual and legal entities operating in the Republic of Croatia and abroad. The Society continuously works to advance natural and technical sciences and their practical applications. It promotes all types of engineering activities aimed at optimizing technical and economic development, enhancing welfare, safety, health, environmental protection, and overall social well-being.
The CSCE publishes the scientific journals Kemija u industriji, and Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Quarterly, as well as journal of student journal "Reaktor ideja". In addition to these journals, the CSCE also publishes scientific and professional books in the fields of chemistry and chemical engineering. Two notable publication series are particularly emphasized:
• Croatian Nomenclature of Organic Chemistry
(IUPAC rules and recommendations translated and adopted in Croatian)
• Croatian Chemists and Chemical Engineers
